How To Make Old Spaghetti Factory Spaghetti with Meatballs Recipe
Classic spaghetti and meatballs in a hearty tomato sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, and egg. Mix well and form into meatballs.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.

Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Bring to a simmer.

Gently place meatballs in the sauce and cover the skillet. Cook for about 30 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through.

Serve spaghetti topped with meatballs and tomato sauce.
