Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine milk, sugar, flour, and salt.

Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil (about 10-12 minutes).

Remove from heat and whisk in egg yolks and vanilla extract until smooth.

In a 4-cup dish, layer banana slices and crushed vanilla wafers.

Pour pudding over the wafers.
