This creamy dish features succulent shrimp and pasta, seasoned with garlic and lemon juice at Macaroni Grills.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine pasta according to package directions until al dente.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.

  3. Add shrimp and season with salt and pepper, sauté for 3-4 minutes, until cooked through.

  4. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.

  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

  6. Add white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.

  7. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until cheese has melted and sauce has thickened.

  8. Return shrimp to skillet and toss to coat with sauce.

  9. Serve shrimp and sauce over cooked linguine pasta.
