  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions.

  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  3. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes stirring constantly.

  4. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.

  5. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Drain the pasta and add it to the saucepan. Toss until evenly coated with the sauce.

  7. Garnish with parsley leaves and serve hot.
