How To Make Hole Mole’s Horchata Recipe
A refreshing and creamy drink made with rice, almonds, cinnamon, and sugar.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup of white rice
- 1 cup of almonds
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 cups of water
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Instructions

In a large bowl, soak the rice, almonds, and cinnamon sticks in water for 6-8 hours.

Drain the soaked rice, almonds, and cinnamon and discard the water and cinnamon sticks.

In a blender, add the soaked rice and almonds with 2 cups of water and blend until smooth.

Strain the rice and almond mixture through a cheesecloth or fine mesh sieve into a pitcher.

Add the remaining 2 cups of water, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to the pitcher and stir until well combined.

Refrigerate the horchata for at least 2 hours or until chilled.

Serve with ice and enjoy!
