How To Make Church’s Chicken Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp of baking powder
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable shortening
  • 1 cup of buttermilk
  • 8 pieces of Church’s Chicken

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.

  3. Cut in vegetable shortening until it forms pea-sized crumbles.

  4. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.

  5. On a floured surface, knead the dough a few times and roll out to half an inch thickness.

  6. Cut out biscuits with a biscuit cutter or a glass.

  7. Place biscuits on a lined baking sheet and brush tops with melted butter.

  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.

  9. Fry Church’s Chicken according to package instructions.

  10. Serve biscuits with fried chicken on top.
