How To Make Chips Ahoy Truffles Recipe

Delicious and easy to make truffles made with Chips Ahoy cookies, cream cheese, and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Chips Ahoy cookies (9.5 oz)
  • 4 oz of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Crush Chips Ahoy cookies in a food processor or by hand until they become fine crumbs.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cookie crumbs and softened cream cheese until mixture is smooth.

  3. Use a small cookie scoop or spoon to make balls out of the mixture, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  4. Chill truffles in the fridge for an hour.

  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and vegetable oil in 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth.

  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, using a fork to fully coat and then allowing excess to drip off.

  7. Place coated truffles back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the fridge for an additional hour.
