Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup minced jalapenos
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, jalapenos, and cheddar cheese.

  2. Divide the chicken mixture into small balls, about 1 tablespoon each.

  3. In three separate bowls, prepare the flour (with salt and pepper), beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.

  4. Roll each chicken ball in flour, then dip in eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.

  5. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or a deep skillet to 350°F.

  6. Fry the chicken balls in batches for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. Drain on paper towels and serve with dipping sauce.
