Jumbo pasta shells stuffed with ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and herbs, baked in tomato sauce.

Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Cook pasta shells according to package directions and set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg, parsley, basil, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese mixture.

  5. Spread tomato sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.

  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish.

  7. Cover with remaining tomato sauce.

  8. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
