How To Make Ground Chicken Curry Recipe

This aromatic curry is made with ground chicken cooked in a spicy tomato-onion gravy.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 500g ground chicken
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add onions. Sauté until golden brown.

  2. Add garlic, ginger and green chilies. Sauté for 2 minutes.

  3. Add the ground chicken and cook until browned.

  4. Add tomatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes.

  5. Add water to adjust the consistency of the gravy. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
