Ingredients

  • 1lbground chicken
  • 1tbspginger rootminced
  • 2tspgarlicminced
  • ¼tsphot red chili pepper crushed
  • 1tbsprice wine
  • 2tbspwater
  • ½tspsesame oil
  • 4tspsoy sauce
  • 5tbspsugar
  • 5tbspwhite vinegar
  • ½orangezest
  • 1tbspwater
  • 1tbspcornstarch
  • 1tbspoil

Instructions

  1. Combine the rice wine, 1 tablespoon of water, sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, white vinegar, and orange zest in a bowl. Set aside.

  2. In a separate bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in the remaining 1 tablespoon of water, then set aside.

  3. In a large pan, add 1 tablespoon oil and the ground chicken.

  4. Cook the chicken until a good crust forms.

  5. Finish cooking by breaking the chicken apart with a spatula and cooking for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.

  6. Add the ginger, garlic and crushed red pepper into the pan, then cook for about 10 seconds.

  7. Add the orange sauce, then bring to a boil.

  8. Add the cornstarch mixture to the pan, then cook for just a few seconds, stirring until it thickens.

  9. Serve warm, and enjoy!
