Ingredients

  • 1 large hispi cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 red chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. Cut the cabbage into quarters, leaving the core intact.

  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the cabbage and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Place the cabbage quarters on a baking tray and roast in the oven for 20 minutes.

  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the minced garlic, chopped chilli, breadcrumbs, and a pinch of salt.

  6. Remove the cabbage from the oven and sprinkle the garlic and chilli crumb mixture evenly over each quarter.

  7. Return the cabbage to the oven and roast for an additional 10 minutes, or until the crumb topping is golden and crispy.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
