Ingredients
- 4 large artichokes
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Trim the stems off the artichokes and remove any tough outer leaves. Cut off the top 1/4 of each artichoke.

In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Gently spread open the leaves of each artichoke and spoon the breadcrumb mixture between the leaves.

Place the stuffed artichokes in a baking dish and add 1 cup of water to the dish.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the artichokes are tender and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.

Serve hot with lemon wedges.
