  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch thick slices
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil.

  3. Bake the slices in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, then flip them over and bake for an additional 5 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic and olive oil. Brush each slice of bread with the garlic oil.

  5. Top each slice of bread with a spoonful of cranberry sauce, a slice of brie cheese, a few pieces of torn basil leaves, and a sprinkle of chopped walnuts.

  6. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Serve the crostini warm and enjoy!
