Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh white fish fillets, cubed
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a glass bowl, combine the cubed fish, lime juice, red onion, jalapeno, tomatoes, cilantro, and salt. Mix well and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

  2. While the ceviche is marinating, prepare the guacamole. In a separate bowl, mash the avocados with a fork. Add the diced bell peppers, red onion, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. Remove the ceviche from the refrigerator and drain any excess liquid. Serve the ceviche in individual bowls or glasses, topped with a generous scoop of guacamole.

  4. Serve with tortilla chips on the side.
