How To Make Crispy Calamari Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb calamari rings and tentacles
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions

Rinse the calamari rings and tentacles and let them dry on paper towels.

In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Dip the calamari in milk, shaking off any excess, and then coat it in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a pot over medium heat until it reaches 375°F.

Fry the calamari for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown.

Drain on paper towels and serve hot with lemon wedges and marinara sauce.
