Low-Calorie Salad Dressing Recipe

This versatile dressing can be used on anything and is very low in calories.

An incredible simple recipe for guilt-free and low-calorie salad dressing to smother your plain salad!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¾ tbsp salt
  • tbsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Blend well.

For Cucumber Salad:

  1. Use sliced cucumbers and sliced onions. You may want to toss in some oregano before serving.

For Health Salad:

  1. Use shredded white cabbage, sliced onions, and sliced cucumbers with skins on.

For Cole Slaw:

  1. Add ¾ cup of mayonnaise to the marinade blend. Use 1 lb of shredded white cabbage and 1 large grated carrot.

  2. Prepare at least one day in advance.

  3. Toss well and press down a few times during the marinade period.

  4. Once marinated, all of these will keep for long periods under refrigeration.

  5. The use of any red cabbage will tend to bleed the salad "pink".
