Ingredients

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup of non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Add applesauce, Greek yogurt, egg whites, and vanilla extract. Mix until batter is smooth.

  4. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with non-stick cooking spray. Pour batter into the pan.

  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean from the center of the cake.

  6. Let the cake cool before serving.
