Ingredients
- 2 avocados, ripe
- ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
- ¼ small onion, diced
- ½ Serrano pepper, minced (remove seeds and veins)
- ¼ cup toasted sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Cut avocado lengthwise and carefully remove the pit.
- Spoon out avocado pulp into a mixing bowl, and mash it with a fork, leaving a couple of bigger chunks.
- Fold in remaining ingredients and salt to taste.
- Serve right away, with tortillas or eat it as a spread, over multigrain crackers.
