How To Make Spicy Squash & Apple Chutney

Ingredients
- 2 cups butternut squash, peeled and diced
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
Instructions

In a large saucepan, add the diced squash, apples, onion, and garlic. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, until slightly softened.

Add the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, red pepper flakes, and salt. Stir well to combine.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until the squash and apples are tender and the mixture has thickened.

Remove from heat and let cool completely. Transfer to a jar or container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
