  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, bourbon, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt.

  3. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.

  4. Pour mixture into pie crust and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until filling is set.

  5. Allow pie to cool to room temperature before serving.
