
How To Make Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 lemon, zest and juice
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and poppy seeds.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
