  • 1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.

  2. Add the shredded cabbage to the pot and stir to coat with the butter, onion, and garlic mixture.

  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.

  4. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve hot as a side dish.
