  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the sugar, honey, butter, and vinegar.

  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture starts to boil.

  3. Continue boiling the mixture for about 5-7 minutes, or until it reaches a golden caramel color.

  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and quickly whisk in the baking soda until well combined.

  5. Immediately pour the hot mixture onto a greased baking sheet and let it cool for about 15 minutes, or until hardened.

  6. Once cooled, break the toffee candy into small, bite-sized pieces.
