  • 8 vegan hot dogs
  • 1 sheet of vegan puff pastry dough
  • 1 tbsp of plant-based milk
  • Ketchup and mustard (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cut the puff pastry into thin strips.

  3. Wrap each hot dog loosely with pastry, leaving gaps to create the “mummy” look.

  4. Brush each wrapped hot dog with plant-based milk.

  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the hot dogs are heated through.

  6. Optional: use ketchup and mustard to draw eyes on the “mummy” hot dogs.
