How To Make Witches’ Brew Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • green food coloring
  • black frosting
  • candy eyes
  • gummy worms

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a cupcake tin with cupcake liners.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract.

  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

  5. Add a few drops of green food coloring to the batter and stir until the desired color is reached.

  6. Scoop batter into cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 of the way.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  8. Let cupcakes cool completely before decorating with black frosting, candy eyes, and gummy worms.
