How To Make Ghostly Meringue Cookies Recipe
These spooky meringue cookies are perfect for Halloween!

Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- black food coloring
Instructions

Preheat oven to 200°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, beat egg whites until frothy. Add in sugar, cream of tartar, and vanilla extract.

Continue to beat mixture until stiff peaks form.

Add in a few drops of black food coloring and gently fold until the mixture is evenly colored.

Transfer the mixture into a piping bag with a plain tip and pipe cookies onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 2 hours or until the cookies are crispy and dry.

Turn off the oven and leave the cookies inside to cool completely.
