How To Make Ground Sausage and Black Bean Chili Recipe

A hearty and flavorful chili made with ground sausage, black beans, and spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or dutch oven, cook the ground sausage over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through.

  2. Add in the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.

  3. Stir in the black beans (drained), diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, and salt and pepper.

  4. Bring the chili to a simmer, and let cook for 20-25 minutes until heated through and the flavors are well combined.
