How To Make Water Chestnut and Mushroom Stir-Fry
A crunchy and flavorful stir-fry with a blend of water chestnuts and mushrooms.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup sliced water chestnuts
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- salt and pepper to taste
- chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions

Heat oil in a wok or pan.

Add onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.

Add green pepper, mushrooms, and water chestnuts, sauté for 5 minutes.

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch.

Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
