How To Make Water Chestnut and Broccoli Stir-Fry Recipe
A healthy and quick stir-fry with the goodness of water chestnuts and the crunch of broccoli.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions

Heat sesame oil in a wok or pan.

Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add onion and bell pepper and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add broccoli and water chestnuts and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.

In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch, vegetable broth, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

Pour the mixture into the wok and stir to coat the veggies.

Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Serve hot with rice or noodles.
