  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper


  1. Remove the tough stems from the kale leaves and roughly chop the leaves.

  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

  4. Add the chopped kale to the skillet and toss to coat it in the garlic and oil mixture.

  5. Season with salt and black pepper.

  6. Cover the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the kale is wilted and tender.

  7. Serve hot as a side dish.
