Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup snap peas
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1/2 cup red onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
-
In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
-
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
-
In the same skillet, add the snap peas, bell peppers, and red onion. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
-
Return the shrimp to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the shrimp and vegetables.
-
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
