How To Make Peppered Fillet Steak with Parsley Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 fillet steaks (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to high heat.

  2. Season each fillet steak with cracked black pepper and salt on both sides.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Cook the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Set aside to rest.

  4. In a pot, boil the diced potatoes until tender. Drain and return to the pot.

  5. Add the chopped parsley and butter to the potatoes. Mash until well combined and creamy.

  6. Slice the rested fillet steaks and serve alongside the parsley potatoes.

  7. Enjoy!
