- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, diced (optional for spice)
- 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro
Instructions

In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add the diced onion, garlic, bell pepper, and jalapeno pepper to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
