  • 12 medium-sized prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4-5 leaves iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1 small cucumber, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped


  1. Poach the prawns in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Drain and cool.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  3. In a large bowl, mix together the prawns, diced cucumber, and chopped red onion. Add the cocktail sauce and toss to coat.

  4. Serve the prawn cocktail on a bed of chopped iceberg lettuce.
