How To Make Prawn Stir-Fry Recipe

  • 500g of prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp of cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.

  2. Add onion, bell pepper, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Add prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink.

  4. In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the prawns. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the prawns.

  5. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
