Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon into small pieces and place them in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon, bread crumbs, red onion, dill, green onions, lemon zest, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form each portion into a patty.

  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

  5. Place the salmon patties in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes until they are cooked through and golden brown.

  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a salmon patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Close with the top half of the bun.

  7. Serve the fresh salmon burgers immediately.
