How To Make Chermoula-Marinated Mackerel

  • 4 fresh mackerel fillets
  • 1/4 cup of Chermoula sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the Chermoula sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the mackerel fillets in a shallow dish and pour the Chermoula mixture over them. Make sure they are coated evenly. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

  4. Grill the mackerel fillets for about 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through and slightly charred.

  5. Serve the grilled mackerel with lemon slices on top. Enjoy!
