How To Make Masala Mackerel

Ingredients

  • 4 mackerel fillets
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Clean and pat dry the mackerel fillets.

  2. In a bowl, mix together ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt.

  3. Marinate the mackerel fillets with the prepared masala mixture for 15 minutes.

  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated mackerel fillets until they are golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Serve hot with steamed rice or bread.
