How To Make Sauteed Asparagus

This sauteed asparagus recipe uses fresh asparagus stalks seasoned with garlic and various herbs and cooked in butter to create the perfect veggie dish.

  • 3tbspbutter
  • 1lbasparagus stalks,trimmed, cut into 1 to 2-inch pieces
  • 2tspgarlic,minced
  • 1tspdried Italian seasoning
  • ½tspkosher salt
  • ¼tsppepper
  • tbspparsley,or green onions or fresh dill, chopped


  1. Melt the butter in a large pan over medium high heat.

  2. Add the asparagus, then cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until just tender.

  3. Stir in the garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.

  4. Cook for 1 to 2 more minutes, stirring constantly.

  5. Sprinkle with parsley, serve, and enjoy!
