How To Make Bacon Iceberg Steakhouse Salad

This wedge salad is a classic steakhouse side dish that consist of iceberg lettuce, topped with tomatoes, bacon, and red onions.

Ingredients

  • 8slicesbacon
  • 1headiceberg lettuce,in 8 wedges
  • 2cupsblue cheese dressing
  • 6ozblue cheese,crumbled
  • 2cupsgrape tomatoes,halved
  • ½smallred onion,diced
  • ground black pepper,to taste
  • ¼cupchives,chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium high heat until crispy but still chewy.

  2. Remove from pan and chop into a large dice.

  3. Add the blue cheese dressing to the iceberg lettuce.

  4. Top with bacon, tomatoes, onion, black pepper and chives.
