How To Make Jasmine Rice

  • 2 cups Jasmine rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt


  1. Rinse the Jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

  2. In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the water to a boil.

  3. Add the rinsed Jasmine rice and salt to the boiling water.

  4. Stir well and reduce heat to low. Cover the saucepan with a lid.

  5. Let the rice simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.

  6. Remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit, covered, for another 5 minutes.

  7. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
