How To Make Tortellini with Garlic Sage Butter Sauce
Enjoy a fancy yet easy-to-make tortellini dish made buttery and flavorful with a sauce made with sage, butter, garlic, and spices to taste.

Ingredients
- 6tbspbutter
- 6clovesgarlic
- ½tspground sage
- 1tspsalt
- 1tspfresh ground black pepper
- 1lbfresh meat-filled tortellini,or frozen
- 2tbspflat-leaf parsley,chopped
Instructions

In a medium frying pan, melt the butter over low heat.

Add the garlic and cook, stirring occasionally for 10 to 12 minutes, and mashing the garlic with the back of a wooden spoon, until it is soft and golden.

Stir in the sage, salt, and pepper.

In a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook the tortellini until just done, about 4 minutes for fresh, and 12 minutes for frozen.

Drain the pasta and return to the pot.

Add the butter and parsley and toss over low heat for about 1 minute until the pasta is thoroughly coated with the butter.
