How To Make Mushroom Orzo Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of orzo
  • 8 ounces of mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 cup of vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the orzo according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and garlic, and sauté until the mushrooms are tender and golden brown.

  3. Add the cooked orzo to the skillet and stir until well combined.

  4. Pour in the vegetable broth and simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the orzo absorbs the broth.

  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
