How To Make Linguine with White Clam Sauce

Ingredients
- 12 oz linguine
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 cups fresh clams, scrubbed and cleaned
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the clams to the skillet and pour in the white wine and chicken broth. Cover the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened.

Remove the clams from the skillet and set aside. Discard any unopened clams.

Increase the heat to high and simmer the sauce until it has reduced by half, about 5 minutes.

Add the butter to the sauce and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat the noodles in the clam sauce.

Serve the linguine with the cooked clams on top and garnish with fresh parsley.
