How To Make Cheesy Tomato Basil Pasta Recipe
This creamy pasta dish is loaded with the fresh flavors of tangy tomatoes and fragrant basil, topped with oozy cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 pound of pasta
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) of diced tomatoes
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package directions, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

In a large skillet, add diced tomatoes and garlic. Cook over medium heat until the tomatoes are soft, about 5 minutes.

Add chopped basil and heavy cream to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

Add cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Toss until pasta is coated with sauce.

If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to thin it out.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot with additional Parmesan cheese and basil leaves as garnish.
