How To Make Baked Rigatoni Recipe
A deliciously baked rigatoni pasta dish with a cheesy, tomato sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 pound rigatoni pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Cook rigatoni according to package directions until al dente. Drain and transfer to a large bowl.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, and oregano and sauté for 1 minute.

Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour sauce over rigatoni and toss to combine.

Add Parmesan cheese and basil and toss again. Transfer pasta to a 9×13 inch baking dish.

Top rigatoni with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
