How To Make Cheesy Garlic Parmesan Pasta Recipe
Creamy and flavorful pasta dish with a garlicky parmesan sauce and melted cheese.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 8 oz. pasta (linguine, spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat and add minced garlic. Cook for a minute or until fragrant.

Add flour and whisk until smooth. Cook for another minute.

Gradually add milk while whisking constantly. Continue to cook and whisk until it thickens.

Add grated parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Stir until cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Add cooked pasta to the pan and toss until it is coated evenly with sauce.

Turn off the heat and sprinkle chopped parsley on top of the pasta.

Add shredded mozzarella cheese and cover the pan for a few minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
