How To Make Spago’s Baked Rigatoni Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb rigatoni pasta
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 4 cups whole milk
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cook the rigatoni pasta according to the package instructions.

In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat.

Add flour, whisking continuously to form a roux.

Gradually pour in milk, whisking continuously to avoid lumps.

Cook for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Add shredded mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese to the sauce. Stir until the cheese melts.

Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the cheese sauce.

Add the cooked rigatoni pasta to the cheese sauce.

Mix well and transfer to a baking dish.

Sprinkle more mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese on top of the pasta.
