  • 8 oz elbow macaroni, regular or gluten-free, uncooked
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 29 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp chili powder, or to taste


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Drain the cooked pasta and return to the pot. Add the beef, tomato sauce, and chili powder and stir together.
  4. Return the pot to the stove over medium heat until heated through. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  5. Serve and enjoy.
